The transition to motherhood is, all at once, the most mentally, physically and emotionally tough thing I have ever experienced.
For me, the transition is like a dance, beginning the very moment you start your pregnancy or adoption journey. It’s a dance you don’t know and, at least for your first child, a dance you’ve never experienced before. It’s a dance of learning, experience and resilience. It’s a dance of emotions too, from extreme highs to deep lows.
At the Dance of Motherhood, I’m creating spaces where mums talk and feel wholly understood. Spaces where you can safely explore how you’re feeling and what you’re thinking. Spaces that are a community celebrating the good times and helping you through the dark times. Spaces where we build your confidence and identity.
The spaces so far include:

- The Dance of Motherhood Community, currently @thedanceofmotherhood
- Maternal well-being programme (launching in 2019)
